ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE

Mission
The American Democracy Institute (ADI) is dedicated to engaging, educating and empowering a new generation of American leaders to shape the future of our country.

Vision
ADI was founded on the belief that given the opportunity, information and resources, young people can be a powerful force for social and political change in our democracy.

Who We Are
ADI is a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) organization comprised of a network of young leaders and activists from various fields including business, academia, nonprofit, government and more. We strive to expand this network by educating and engaging young people to become more aware of the issues and ideas that affect their lives.

Leadership Program
ADI recognizes that there needs to be a new generation of leaders to face the challenges in our world and overcome the obstacles that we encounter today and into the future. We target top emerging leaders ages 25-40 based on their records of accomplishment and commitment to positive social and political change.  ADI prepares these leaders to shape the future of our country by educating and empowering them through skill-building programs, problem-solving initiatives, and a growing network of top young leaders.

Empower Change Programs
ADI convenes  summits, workshops, and other events around the country as a gateway for thousands of young people to begin their active engagement with American democracy.  During election cycles, ADI's Empower Change Program combines live events with a powerful online platform designed to register, educate, mobilize and protect the votes of young and traditionally disenfranchised voters.

Online Integration
ADI has developed an innovative online platform that will allow members to interact.  By going online, young people will be able to provide input on programs, access online tools, and collaborate  with their peers.
